Trade Shows:

5ml take the strain out of developing a product and presenting it to trade. When we deem creative ideas to be ready, we present them to trade taking care of all the press releases, catalogue production, marketing and promotion activities, stand design and build, product transportation, display, pricing, chasing up leads, liasing with press and converting leads to sales on the behalf of our designers. We put designers in touch with the right clients for their work and continue to promote their practices long after their show involvement has ended.

We have already exhibited at a wide variety of design trade shows and found certain ones to be most effective for particular products, we return to Pulse London year on year for its quality trade visitors and support our home turf in Liverpool annually. We try to keep one or two shows per year open to members suggestions. In 2010 we went to Maison in partnership with the BEDG which was phenomenally successful and placed us in the same arena as well established companies such as Droog, Innermost, Black and Blum, Blue Marmalade, Donna Wilson, SCP and Thorsten Van Elten. This year we tried Spring fair which was great for smaller more affordable giftware and gave us access to some of our most prestigious buying contacts. We are about to try TENT for the first time and next year “Home” which is a brand new venture by the organisers of Pulse.

2010
Pulse 2010 – our first show as the collective. A hugely popular stand resulting in best sales for lighting	Maison 2010 – our first international show. Highly professional and flamboyant, our best sellers were visual merchandise and furniture items	Liverpool 2010 – our home ground. More of a retail show resulting in fast sales direct from the stand to consumers, affordable, quirky giftwear works best

2011
Spring fair 2011 – our first UK international. Cheaper items aimed more towards mass production resulted in large quantity orders	Pulse 2011 – Good response to our massive 21m space only stand, buyers for smaller gifty items and interest for purchase from interior designers for new schemes	Tent 2011 – First time as the collective at Tent London, with a 9m stand and 13 companies showing including lots of new talent its sure to be great, visit us on stand GO7	Liverpool 2011 - We have a secured a nice big 8m stand with wooden shell scheme, we will be selling direct to public aswell as taking trade orders, enquiries and commissions, great for making quick sales with an affordable product and good for local profile if you are based up North

2012
Home 2012 – This will be a new show for everyone, for the first time, the creators of Pulse, Tent and Top Drawer are launching an International show in the heart of London, be a part of it and line up next to the likes of Alessi, Jme, Royal VKB and SCP!
